Michele, Liternum Gaia Felix¸ Asprinio D`Aversa

GRAPE: 100% Asprinio D`Aversa
REGION: Villa Literno, Campania

GOOD TO KNOW: Michele Lorenzetti is a biologist and oenologist that since 2004 carries a consultant in biodynamic Viticulture. Aversa Asprinio is a native grape of southern Italy's Campania wine region. Introduced in July 1993, the title exclusively covers white wines made from the Asprinio grape variety. DNA studies have shown that it is identical to the Greco variety as used in Greco di Tufo. Neverthelessthe character of the wines tend to be very different: Asprinio tends to show very high acidity and can make wines which can age for a decade or more.
TASTE: Floreal and citrus notes, wild herbs, sage, mandarin, orange skin.
Medium body, fresh taste and natural vivace acidity.
