Fulvio, Bressan Pinot Noir
REGION: Gorizia, Friuli Venezia Giulia
GOOD TO KNOW: Nereo Bressan began working in his family’s farm when he was a child, dividing his labors: in the morning as a butcher in Gorizia, in the afternoon on the tractor through the vineyards. Since the last year Nereo has left the helm of the company to his son Fulvio, who , then, has inherited, in addition to the incredible skill in the production of high quality wines, even an impetuous nature, which has allowed in the years to pursue firmly his own idea of wine and life. Fulvio and his wife Jelen (an inexhaustible font of knowledge on the family’s winemaking methods) tend their vines with a view to future generations – not just the next decade.
TASTE: Dry and aromatic, elegant and aristocratic, intense and overwhelming in its tannic structure. Wine of great class; aristocratic, with hints of woodland scents, charred wood and truffles.
